Dry stone walling is a traditional craft dating back thousands of years and to this day the skills and techniques employed have not changed. Whether you are intending to take up walling as a potential career or you have a small project at home Andrew can offer dry stone walling courses which will equip you with the necessary skills.
The dry stone walling courses are held on farm land in the beautiful Peak District National Park with far reaching views over the Cheshire Plain and Wales beyond.
All our courses are run by Dry Stone Walling Association Master Craftsmen with years of experience in instructing and examining.
We offer a warm welcome and the opportunity to learn some new skills in a beautiful environment in the company of like minded people.
An entry level dry stone walling course aimed at people with little or no experience. This is a practical, hands on course and over the two days you will build a section of dry stone wall. During this process you will learn all the basic techniques required.
